Question: How are the savings calculated?
Answer: Savings are calculated by comparing the value of reused products with the cost of buying equivalent new products. When adding products to Loopfront, the platform automatically suggests information using image recognition, such as purchase price, weight and CO2 that provides a basis for savings. When items are moved or ordered for reuse, the savings are recorded and the system highlights both financial savings and environmental benefits, which can be viewed on a separate report page in the platform.
Question:Is it correctly understood that all products are priced in the solution?
Answer: Loopfront suggests a purchase price for the products that are registered, which provides the basis for the cost savings reports in the platform when you reuse a product instead of purchasing a new one. It is also possible set a price for ordering products on the internal marketplace, but most of our customers share things for free internally in their organization. It is the organization itself that decides how pricing should be set up.
Question:Can sellers post items on the platform?
Answer: Yes, users with a "seller" role or other responsible parties can register and create marketplace listings in the solution. Access is controlled by the administrator in the system, so you have control over who can order or create listings.
Question:What is the cost of using the system?
Answer: The price of Loopfront depends on the size of the company, the number of users and the need for different functions. Feel free to contact us to get a quote: vladislav@loopfront.com
Tips from Ullensvang municipality:
● One dedicated employee is recommended to operate and follow up (optimally 2 or 3 depending on size and scope) and support in the start-up phase.
● The best tip is to get an info call with Knut Sverre, Hanne or some of the others in Loopfront
● Think carefully about what you want to achieve and how. Make a plan for the long term with reuse.
● Seek information from others who are up and running on Loopfront. For example, Kjetil has had a study trip to Bergen and seen how they operate.
