What kind of company is Arbeid og vekst?
Martine:
They are a work and inclusion company owned by Halden municipality, and therefore not a unit in the municipality in the same way as the property department or the environmental department. "The main purpose of the company is to assist people who need help to return to work or activity. We have 50 years of experience and skilled employees with knowledge in a very broad field of work ." https://www.arbeidogvekst.no/om-oss/

How confident are you that the EPD is correct? Can you tell us a little about data quality assurance?
Martine: We rely on the fact that Loopfront has the best data available based on its extensive data base. The advantage of using Loopfront to calculate greenhouse gas savings and finances is that the solution is continuously updated with better figures.

How is Halden arbeid & vekst connected when there is furniture/fixtures left over somewhere in the municipality?
Martine: Two options: employees can order pick-up by Work and Growth directly if there is a small amount of furniture. If there are premises that need to be emptied/decommissioned, the Property Department, often in collaboration with the Environment Department, orders an assignment from Work and Growth. We often take a tour of the premises together and agree on which furniture and fixtures are to be transferred to storage.

Does anyone at Arbeid og Vekst have knowledge of fixtures and furniture?
Martine: They don't have any special expertise or training in this area, but they do have a lot of practical experience and technical understanding that enables them to solve the tasks in a good way.

How is the work financed?
Martine: Now the person who orders delivery pays for the shipping themselves. Otherwise, the costs are taken from the funds the municipality has set aside for climate measures.

Do you deliver all the furniture? Have you stated this in the platform?
Martine: When ordering, you can choose whether you want the furniture delivered or whether you want to collect it yourself. This is a point that must be answered in order to complete the order.
